You Can Protect A Blue Ribbon Trout Stream!
We need your help! There are more than 7,000 miles of stream in the Saginaw Bay Watershed, of which only 15.5 are Blue Ribbon Trout Stream. The upper East Branch Au Gres River and the Cedar River feature those premier designated stretches. Huron Pines is leading a handful of restoration projects that will enhance and protect the East Branch Au Gres River and the Middle Branch Cedar River, and we are so close to fully funding the projects.
You can make a difference today by visiting our Crowdrise campaign and donating today. Your contribution will go directly to the restoration of these five aquatic passage barrier projects, which will help sustain healthy fish and wildlife populations and protect the clean water that is so important for the outdoor recreation and tourism activities that drive our region’s economy.
Spread the word and act fast. Together we can reach our goal!
