Experience nature with a keen eye toward the healing properties the natural world can provide us. We will prepare for a walk in the woods by practicing breathing techniques, gentle stretching and observe the way our bodies feel as we become closer to our breath. We’ll follow this up with nature observation and/or journaling walk in the woods. Breathwork and stretching will be led by Meagan Kryswosinski of braVe Speaks, a firm focused on helping people “engage their brave” through experiences, teaching, and yoga principles.
This event will be held outside, so be prepared and dressed for the weather. Bring a towel, yoga mat, a willingness to connect and whatever you need to be comfortable on the forest floor. Led by Meagan Kryswosinski, found of BraVe Speaks.
This event is part of the Protect Wild Places program, supported by the Consumers Energy Foundation, which is working to empower Michigan communities to support the land and water to restore 5,000 acres of wildlife habitat and recreational land, and 150 miles of waterways and Great Lakes shoreline.
