Michigan’s Native Grasslands and Elk

This program will focus on the role of Michigan grasslands and what their decline means for the species which rely on these landscapes, including the elk that roam the Pigeon River Country State Forest. We will be joined by DNR Wildlife Field Operations Manager Brian Mastenbrook.
Event is co-hosted by Huron Pines, Huron Pines AmeriCorps and Pigeon River Country Discovery Center and supported by the Michigan DNR Wildlife Habitat Grant Program.

This event will be held outdoors. Masks will be required if it is moved inside the Discovery Center due to weather. Space is limited to the first 20 registrants. Bring a refillable water bottle.
