How to Identify and Remove Invasive Plants

Join Huron Pines and Otsego Conservation District to learn how to identify invasive shrubs like autumn olive, Japanese barberry and honeysuckle and the proper ways to remove them from your property.
The workshop will be led by Shelby Bauer, Huron Heartland Invasive Species Coordinator for Huron Pines; and Joellen Saugrich, District Forester for Otsego, Crawford and Roscommon counties. A classroom segment will be followed by hands-on instruction removing invasive species on a nearby property.
